My city pesto project is currently on hold. However, over the past 20 weeks, I have made very valuable connections through this project. For example, I started collaborating with Utrecht Natuurlijk and Reijnarde to harvest nettles using people who are distanced from the labor market, ensuring that my product also makes a social contribution. Additionally, I sat down with Boerderij van Rossum to discuss the potential use of their production space for my pesto. They were also able to provide more information about local subsidies available to local producers to help raise awareness of local farmers and producers.
